Beschreibung

• Support numerous facets of the FAA Fire Life Safety Program, including guidance, policy development, and planning • Provide final review of Condition Risk Assessment reports from Leidos and subcontractors • Assist with development of the Technical Implementation Guide • Assist the FAA with fire investigations • Maintain CRA templates, guides, SOP, and tracking log • Support CRA report closeout meetings and ensure reports contain FAA-requested information • Assist in hiring additional personnel • Develop FLS code and standards analyses and advise on applicability to FAA facilities • Provide FLS guidance on FAA program and agency initiatives • Assist with standard specifications for FAA facility installations • Support FLS program planning, prioritization, consultation, and program direction • Coordinate CRA sites with the customer • Maintain current CRA schedules and project status information • Complete and maintain applicable IRMC documentation at least 30 days before site visits • Mitigate findings identified during site visits • Provide additional CRA support as requested by the AJW-23 Program Manager • Travel to various FAA locations within the central United States, up to 50% of the time

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s degree and 8 or more years of relevant exempt experience, or Master’s degree and 6 or more years of relevant exempt experience • Professional Engineering License in Fire Protection Engineering, or willingness and ability to obtain one • 5+ years of progressive experience in Fire Life Safety/Fire Protection • Strong working knowledge of applicable ICC and NFPA codes • Experience developing and/or providing holistic consultation on FLS programs • Ability to produce FLS designs for a variety of critical FLS elements and provide critical comments on FLS designs and installations • Former experience training FLS concepts and code application • Experience working in a team and collaborating with other Fire Protection Engineers • Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to FAA locations within the central US • Experience with FAA National Airspace System facilities, FAA facilities, or similar government installations preferred • Experience with 29 CFR 1960.20 preferred • Federal agency program experience preferred, with FAA experience weighted heavily • Training on the use/maintenance of Fire Protection systems preferred
