Beschreibung

• Maintain and enhance the program's ASP.NET MVC Core application connected to an Oracle backend • Decipher, maintain, and modernize undocumented legacy Classic ASP code across application modules • Write clean, well-documented C# and JavaScript code following DoD secure coding standards (STIGs) • Store and manage code in the designated CWBI GitHub Enterprise environment following DevSecOps practices • Implement standardized authentication using Login.gov, OpenID, and Keycloak • Build health-check endpoints for automated uptime monitoring • Participate in two-week Agile sprint cycles • Contribute to delivery of at least ten MVPs quarterly and four major feature releases annually • Participate in code reviews and professional demonstrations of releases • Contribute to requirements and UI/UX analysis • Support integration with the CWBI Data Strategy, including exposing data through OpenAPI-compliant service interfaces • Coordinate with the Senior Oracle DBA on query performance and data access patterns • Maintain and modernize enterprise web applications supporting the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Walla Walla District

🎯 Anforderungen

• U.S. Citizenship required • Minimum active Tier 1 (or higher) federal background investigation, favorably adjudicated, prior to start • Ability to obtain a CAC if required by duties • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) • Minimum 5-7 years of full-stack or application development experience • Expertise in .NET Framework/.NET Core MVC web applications connected to Oracle databases • Mastery of deciphering, maintaining, and modernizing undocumented Classic ASP code • Strong proficiency in C#, JavaScript, and modern web-based user interface development • Demonstrated experience implementing secure coding principles, including DoD STIGs • Working knowledge of Agile/DevSecOps methodologies • CompTIA Security+ or DoD 8140-approved equivalent required within six (6) months of contract start • Preferred: experience with cloud architecture and migration, preferably AWS GovCloud • Preferred: federal government or DoD application development background • Preferred: experience with GitHub Enterprise and modern DevSecOps toolchains • Preferred: familiarity with microservices architecture and hardened container images • EC-Council Certified DevSecOps Engineer (ECDE) desired for senior/lead roles
