Beschreibung

• Own key graphics initiatives across the platform, including asset compatibility, lighting, shader and material workflows, and emerging rendering techniques • Design and build solutions for runtime asset translation and cross-platform content workflows • Design, extend, and implement custom Unreal Editor tools, UI extensions, and automated asset pipelines to accelerate content creation • Tackle low-level graphics, optimisation, and profiling challenges to improve rendering performance and visual fidelity across target hardware • Set the technical bar for the Unreal team through architecture decisions, robust C++ code, and active code reviews • Work directly with teams building OKO's web and mobile clients and cloud services to ensure the Unreal experience is world-class • Raise team capability through knowledge sharing, documentation, and technical guidance • Provide technical leadership and mentorship while remaining hands-on rather than managing people • Build and optimise the OKO Unreal Engine plugin and studio-facing Unreal pipelines

🎯 Anforderungen

• Significant professional experience developing in C++ within Unreal Engine, with a deep understanding of the engine's codebase and runtime systems • Strong graphics and rendering programming foundations, with hands-on experience working within Unreal's rendering code, including the RHI, shader development, and GPU performance profiling • Experience building, maintaining, or extending Unreal Editor tools, workflows, or pipelines relied on by developers or artists • Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex technical rendering or tooling challenges to technical and non-technical stakeholders • Collaborative mindset and genuine interest in mentoring peer developers and sharing knowledge across disciplines • Track record of creating clarity and driving technical progress in a fast-moving product environment • Experience with runtime asset loading and asset interchange technologies such as glTF/GLB or USD • Experience with real-time replication, multiplayer, or real-time synchronisation • Experience building, maintaining, or distributing Unreal Engine plugins • Contributions to open-source software
