Beschreibung

• Provide technical leadership and direction for multiple agile teams or projects • Implement prioritized software product roadmaps • Design, develop, and maintain complex software systems • Write high-quality code for complex scenarios with good test coverage • Review and translate product requirements into robust designs for distributed application systems • Lead design and code reviews of multiple applications • Lead multiple sprint teams within the same product area to deliver new or improved features • Address impediments to delivering high-quality solutions for product-backlog items • Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of intended functionality • Mentor and provide technical guidance to engineers across multiple teams • Collaborate with product managers to estimate effort, prioritize work, plan, and deliver roadmap items • Foster innovation and excellence within Mercury engineering

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related fields Or equivalent combination of education and experience • 7+ years software engineering experience with proven experience in cutting-edge Technologies and/or those used at Mercury • 3+ years hands-on experience leading multi-team engineering initiatives for building features in a distributed application systems environment • Proficient in programming in one or more industry-standard languages (e.g., Java, Python, Go, C++, JavaScript) • Proficient in data structures, algorithms, and design patterns • Experience with relational databases, NoSQL, and caching solutions • Skilled in APIs using modern protocols like REST and gRPC • Experience with message queuing, data streaming, workflow, and integration frameworks such as Apache Kafka, Apache NiFi, Amazon SQS, MS MQ, and Apache Camel • Knowledge of microservices architecture • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes • Proficient in AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure • Experience leveraging DevSecOps • Experience designing and implementing distributed application systems • Experience leveraging analytics data and experimentation • Excellent problem-solving skills • Strong communication and collaboration skills • Demonstrated leadership skills through mentoring and technical guidance • Experience championing operational excellence, quality, performance, scalability, maintainability, and observability • Experience driving technical strategy and vision for multiple teams • Must be able to work from the United States • Preferred: Master’s Degree in Computer Science • Preferred: 7+ years working in Java, Python, Spring boot, Microservices, etc. • Preferred: 3+ years working on big data platforms such as AWS, Kafka, Spark, etc. • Preferred: 1+ years working on Generative AI initiatives using closed- and open-source models and libraries
