Beschreibung

• Assess and manage patients exploring cannabis based medicines • Make clinical decisions on whether treatment is appropriate • Manage patients’ ongoing care • Provide high quality care for patients seeking medical cannabis treatment • Conduct patient consultations, including assessment and ongoing management • Engage in clinical outcome data collection to support evidence based practices • Contribute to clinical governance and maintain robust patient care standards • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team including nurses and pharmacists • Participate in ongoing training and professional development • Focus on prescribing and patient care while nurses and pharmacists handle pre-consultation and follow-up prescribing tasks • Conduct 15-minute appointments within standard 4-hour sessions

🎯 Anforderungen

• Full GMC Registration • Completion of Specialist Training (CCST/CCT) or equivalent certification • On the GMC Specialist Register for Pain • Experienced Pain Management Consultant • Sound clinical judgement • Demonstrated interest in alternative therapies • Willingness to participate in data collection and reporting • Genuine interest in improving outcomes for patients with complex chronic pain • No previous experience with cannabis based medicines required • Must commit initially to a minimum of 2 sessions per week / 8 hours • Legally authorised to work in United Kingdom
