Beschreibung

• Design, build and maintain network and infrastructure automation using modern DevOps practices • Deliver automation through code-based CI/CD pipelines • Apply infrastructure-as-code and network-as-code principles to create repeatable, controlled and auditable delivery patterns • Embed security, compliance and risk controls into automation and pipeline design • Support automated change, incident and operational workflows, including ServiceNow integration where appropriate • Work with container platforms such as OpenShift or Kubernetes to support automation services and workloads • Explore practical uses of AI-enabled tooling and workflows to improve operational efficiency, engineering productivity and service reliability • Develop and enhance automation patterns, pipelines and tools supporting network and infrastructure services from concept through operational support • Collaborate with engineers, platform teams and service owners • Build reusable automation, improve delivery efficiency and embed DevOps best practice across the engineering lifecycle

🎯 Anforderungen

• Hands-on engineering experience • Strong automation mindset • Solid understanding of enterprise networking • Experience working in a DevOps environment • Experience of network automation within large-scale financial services or other regulated environments • Experience using AI-enabled tooling to improve engineering outcomes is advantageous • Awareness of Python or similar programming languages used within enterprise automation ecosystems is advantageous • Experience gathering, analysing and interpreting data and insight to support decision-making • Ability to build relationships, collaborate effectively and influence stakeholders • Knowledge of change and project management principles, methodologies and ways of working • Understanding of NatWest businesses and the strategic priorities that drive transformation activity • Ability to connect business strategy to transformation initiatives, with an understanding of business models, operating models and customer outcomes • Strong security mindset • Exposure to firewalls, web application firewalls, load balancers and access controls
