Beschreibung

• Produce technical architecture designs for corporate platforms and customer solutions across on-premise, data centre, and public cloud environments • Evaluate architecture and design options and make evidence-based recommendations balancing functional and non-functional requirements • Work closely with delivery teams to support implementation, including knowledge transfer and hands-on assistance • Participate in the architecture peer review process • Present technical designs to the Technical Assurance Board and support assurance discussions • Contribute to technology roadmaps and investigate technologies for controlled adoption • Collaborate with Security Architects to protect workloads appropriately • Maintain awareness of emerging technologies, platforms, and industry trends relevant to NEC’s services and customers • Provide practical guidance during implementation and ensure solutions meet functional and non-functional requirements

🎯 Anforderungen

• Proven experience producing technical architecture designs • Strong understanding of compute, networking, storage, virtualisation, and cloud technologies • Confidence balancing delivery pressures with design quality and long-term sustainability • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences • Experience working within the UK public sector is highly valued • Experience with Azure, AWS, or OCI is highly valued • Experience with server virtualisation, networking, and storage is highly valued • Candidates must demonstrate a pre-existing right to work and travel within the UK • Documentary evidence of UK right to work and travel is required • Satisfactory vetting, references, and occupational health checks required • Current Security Check (SC) clearance or higher, Non-Police Personnel Vetting (NPPV) Level 3, or ability to gain Enhanced Security Clearance, in addition to the Baseline Personnel Security Standard
