Beschreibung

• Own core parts of the platform layer of GraphAware Hume, a graph-powered analytics platform • Provide technical guidance on graph architecture across the organisation • Anticipate product-level issues before they surface • Track, test, and evaluate new Neo4j features and ecosystem tooling against real workloads • Identify product opportunities and plan scalable Neo4j migrations • Drive architecture for modelling, querying, and scaling knowledge graphs • Set technical direction for transversal platform foundations and cross-cutting design decisions • Optimize Cypher queries and graph access patterns for latency, throughput, and scale • Mentor engineers and raise the team’s technical bar without formal management authority • Partner with Product Managers to translate product goals into scalable technical roadmaps • Design secure, scalable access-control systems for mission-critical environments • Build APIs for intuitive interaction with complex data • Orchestrate workflows automating graph analytics, inference, and real-time insights

🎯 Anforderungen

• Deep, hands-on Neo4j expertise, including advanced Cypher query performance optimization, profiling, and familiarity with GDS, APOC, and drivers • Experience modelling real domains as property graphs • Track record of leading architecture and technical direction for a team or product area • Proven ability to drive consensus across engineering teams for large-scale architectural changes • 8+ years of backend systems experience • Fluency in Java or a strong JVM background transferable to a Java codebase • Knowledge of Clean Architecture, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and Test-Driven Development (TDD) • Advanced debugging and profiling techniques • Ability to write composable, maintainable, and testable code • Experience with Spring or similar frameworks for secure, modular, and scalable APIs • Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and automated deployment workflows • Practical knowledge of secure software design and common vulnerabilities such as OWASP • Comfort with remote team collaboration and asynchronous communication • Role is aimed at candidates in the UK, Czechia, or Italy • Bonus familiarity with PostgreSQL, knowledge graphs, GraphRAG, LangChain, LlamaIndex, graph algorithms, Kafka, distributed systems, schema refactoring, migrations, versioning, observability, and performance tuning
