Beschreibung

• Lead a team of software engineers developing and maintaining privacy-protective features and tools • Partner with PDPE leadership to define and execute a consumer-centric approach to data collection, consent, and privacy controls • Integrate privacy solutions into Netflix’s complex data ecosystem • Build cross-functional partnerships across Data Platform Infrastructure, Data Sciences Engineering, Security, Legal, and Product teams • Develop and onboard horizontal privacy solutions • Automate privacy rights management • Measure and mitigate privacy and data protection risks • Develop solutions that abstract foundational privacy needs and enable product teams to focus on core offerings • Drive technical decisions and delegate ownership to team members • Develop product strategy roadmaps for privacy rights management and metadata catalog management • Scale privacy solutions across the enterprise

🎯 Anforderungen

• Proven leadership experience managing software development teams and building privacy and/or security solutions, preferably in a large-scale, data-driven environment • Experience coaching and managing high-performing teams through inclusive, growth-oriented feedback • Comfort driving technical decisions in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with competing priorities • Previous hands-on individual contributor experience with deep technical credibility • Experience demonstrating risk mitigation and data enablement through measured outcomes and metrics • System design and full-stack development background • Deep understanding of privacy and security frameworks, data classification, data protection controls, and records retention • Strategic and pragmatic product strategy and roadmap thinking • Experience improving privacy rights management and metadata catalog management tooling • Experience building tools for consent management, data-use limitations, and/or data protection controls across the data lifecycle • Demonstrated cross-functional collaboration across engineering, product, legal, and security teams • Experience using structured discovery of privacy gaps to inform prioritization and investment in privacy remediation programs • Enthusiasm for GenAI as a force multiplier for scaling privacy and data protection
