Beschreibung

• Deliver compute platform capabilities and drive adoption across Netflix • Architect, implement, and own scalable, extensible Cloud Compute infrastructure • Enable containers to run on compute nodes as efficiently and reliably as possible • Develop and maintain Kubernetes data plane software, the container runtime, container downloading and execution systems, and the underlying compute node operating system • Build strong cross-functional partnerships with engineering teams and other stakeholders • Set the example for operational excellence across the team and Compute • Continuously improve incident response, on-call, and operational practices • Monitor industry trends and guide decisions on adopting new architectures, features, and off-the-shelf services • Contribute to and learn from the open-source ecosystem

🎯 Anforderungen

• Proven track record of architecting and implementing large-scale distributed systems that define and modify infrastructure at 100M+ user scale • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong relationship-building ability • Passion for technology and ability to jump into an ambiguous area and break down complex problems • Demonstrated technical leadership to empower the team around you and get the most from diverse stakeholders • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and how to abstract away its complexities • Experience with Golang, Java, and/or Python • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively • Ability to balance correctness, speed, and uncertainty in decision-making • Ability to execute strategically in the short term while thinking long term • Ability to define and self-manage cross-functional projects fueled by ambiguous questions
