Beschreibung

• craft end-to-end experiences for map-based and AI-assisted features from early-stage concept through production-ready specs with the rigor and clarity that lets engineers ship with confidence • communicate complex geospatial and AI-driven workflows into interfaces that feel intuitive to non-technical users, making model outputs, confidence levels, and spatial data legible without sacrificing depth • drive user research and usability testing across our core user personas (e.g. analysts, underwriters, and operators) synthesizing insights into design decisions that are grounded in real-world use • partner with engineers and data scientists throughout the build cycle, using your front-end literacy to close the gap between design intent and implementation quality • advance Neural Earth's design system, establishing scalable patterns for geospatial UI, AI explainability, and data visualization that raise the quality bar across the entire product surface

🎯 Anforderungen

• 5 or more years of product design experience with a portfolio that demonstrates clear ownership of complex, data-rich features from problem framing to shipped product. • You have designed geospatial or mapping products, whether to map UIs, spatial dashboards, GIS workflows, or location-based tools, and understand the unique interaction challenges they present. • You have experience designing AI-assisted interfaces, including how to communicate model outputs, uncertainty, and recommendations in ways that build user trust rather than confusion. • You are proficient in Figma, including components and design systems, and know how to use it to collaborate effectively with both engineers and stakeholders. • You have enough front-end literacy (HTML/CSS/React) to prototype in the browser, inspect implementations, and flag gaps between design and code without needing an engineer to translate. • You are a strong communicator who can articulate design rationale clearly to engineers, product managers, and executive stakeholders alike. • You are a self-starter who thrives in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and takes ownership of your work without waiting to be directed. • Ability to accommodate occasional travel as needed (~10%)
