Beschreibung

• Define and maintain product strategy, target customer segments, customer needs, value propositions, and scope for Managed WordPress and Managed WooCommerce • Develop and manage product roadmaps covering strategic priorities, investments, trade-offs, dependencies, and outcomes • Lead decisions on features, packaging, service tiers, upgrade paths, and end-to-end customer experience • Identify and prioritize AI capabilities across onboarding, site creation, optimization, maintenance, and growth • Partner with the VP of Product and cross-functional stakeholders on AI vision and software strategy • Identify unmet customer needs, validate opportunities, and lead development and launch of new products and capabilities • Lead customer discovery, validation, prototyping, experimentation, and hands-on evaluation of AI models, prompts, tools, and agent frameworks • Define product requirements for AI-enabled and agentic capabilities and partner with Engineering and stakeholders through design, development, launch, and improvement • Evaluate AI agents for site setup, content generation, performance optimization, migrations, and customer support • Establish or contribute to AI evaluation, quality, safety, risk, cost, model selection, and monitoring standards • Drive commercial outcomes including pricing, packaging, margin, adoption, attach rate, conversion, retention, and expansion • Develop business cases and product investment recommendations • Support positioning, launches, go-to-market planning, adoption, and customer growth • Define KPIs, support instrumentation and reporting, and communicate performance, insights, risks, and recommended actions • Engage customers and customer-facing teams through interviews, support insights, sales discussions, feedback, community engagement, and other channels • Participate in WordPress, hosting, developer, agency, and partner communities • Build relationships with agencies, developers, technology partners, plugin providers, and theme providers • Represent the company and products in industry or community forums and events • Mentor and coach product managers and develop product management practices and standards • Lead cross-functional initiatives, align stakeholders, and resolve product risks, dependencies, and ambiguity • Assume people-management responsibilities if assigned

🎯 Anforderungen

• Significant product management experience at Staff, Principal, Lead, or comparable scope and impact level • Demonstrated knowledge of the WordPress ecosystem, including plugins, themes, agencies, freelancers, and website development and maintenance practices • Experience with web hosting, cloud infrastructure, or related technology products • Experience leading or significantly contributing to development and launch of new products or capabilities from concept through adoption • Hands-on experience developing, testing, evaluating, or launching AI-enabled products or features • Experience with prompt development, model-output evaluation, experimentation, or customer-facing AI implementation • Experience designing, implementing, or managing AI agents or agentic systems, including tooling, orchestration, evaluation, monitoring, and failure or exception handling • Experience contributing to commercial outcomes such as revenue growth, pricing, packaging, monetization, margin, or business performance • Experience defining, monitoring, and using product and business KPIs • Experience leading, mentoring, coaching, or managing product professionals or cross-functional product teams • Demonstrated customer focus and experience incorporating direct customer feedback into product decisions • Experience building, supporting, or participating in developer, creator, open-source, or comparable professional communities • Technical knowledge of software development concepts, technical documentation or code, APIs, and engineering collaboration • Preferred: experience founding, operating, or leading a business, agency, product venture, or comparable initiative • Preferred: experience in a multi-product or portfolio business • Preferred: familiarity with open-source communities, contribution models, governance practices, and commercial models • Ability to communicate effectively and exchange information • Regular use of a computer, keyboard, and standard office equipment • Ability to remain stationary and work at a desk or computer for extended periods
