Beschreibung

• Support the culinary and daily operations of corporate or school cafés • Ensure food quality, production, execution, and presentation standards • Assist with events and catering operations • Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas for compliance with standards • Purchase food and supplies and maintain receiving quality-control practices • Determine production schedules and staffing requirements as needed • Support payroll processing and maintain safety, food handling, sanitation, uniform, and productivity standards • Compile and record production or operational data • Manage client relationships, satisfaction, and account retention • Process unit daily finances and manage controllable department expenses and P&L • Submit financial reporting to the corporate office and assist with financial recordkeeping • Recruit, hire, terminate, review, and manage unit staff • Train and supervise cooks and other food-service workers • Provide attentive, approachable customer service and greet and thank customers • Operate in kitchen and office environments and perform other assigned duties

🎯 Anforderungen

• High school diploma or equivalent • 5+ years’ experience in food service management • ServSafe Certification • Choke Safety Certification • Allergen Awareness Certification (MA) • Customer/client focus • Communication proficiency • Ability to manage change and build agility • Ability to manage conflict and work successfully under pressure • Performance management, employee coaching, and development skills • Microsoft Office Suite preferred • Ability to operate kitchen equipment including ovens, stoves, dishwashers, slicers, coffee machines, steamers, mixers, and chef’s knives • Ability to sit, reach, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push, pull, and lift items weighing 40 pounds or less • Ability to stand for long periods • Manual dexterity and auditory and visual skills • Ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures
