Beschreibung

• This is a remote position. • About Nexton: We’re looking for a highly autonomous, driven AI Engineer to help build Nexton’s AI Research & Applications practice. • Blend applied AI research with hands-on technical consulting: turn market and talent data into AI-powered tools, insights, and presentations that elevate recruiting strategy and client delivery. • Partner closely with the Recruiting Strategy Manager and Director of Recruiting Services to shape the research roadmap and ship production-ready solutions. • Collaborate with the Revenue Team, Customer Operations, and the Recruiting Team to discover opportunities, prototype AI features, and guide adoption across the business. • Responsibilities: Design, prototype, and productionize LLM-powered services; build and evolve RAG pipelines (ingestion, chunking, embeddings, vector search, retrieval strategies, evaluation); develop Python services and REST APIs; select, fine-tune, or distill models; implement prompt engineering and guardrails; participate in Agile ceremonies, design/code reviews, and incident postmortems; ensure quality, reliability, security, and privacy in data and model usage.

🎯 Anforderungen

• 5+ years professional software engineering experience. • 3+ years with Python and FastAPI building backend services and APIs. • 6 months of Practical experience with LLM stacks: OpenAI/Anthropic/Gemini APIs, or open-source models (e.g., Llama, Mistral) and inference tooling. • Experience with RAG and vector databases (e.g., PostgreSQL+pgvector, Pinecone, Redis). • Solid knowledge of prompt design, evaluation, and safety/guardrails • Proficiency with Docker, Git, and Agile methodologies • Fluency in Spanish. • Intermediate English (B1–B2). • Experience working with US based companies. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Nice to have: 2+ years applying ML/NLP in production (LLMs, transformers, embeddings) with PyTorch or TensorFlow. • Nice to have: Experience in a high-growth startup or tech environment. • Nice to have: Presentation skills.
