Beschreibung

• Support the Global Sourcing Category Lead – Software in developing the overall spend category strategy with key stakeholders • Manage and/or oversee category-wide efficiency and governance initiatives • Manage and deliver new deals and renewals • Influence appropriate sourcing strategies and activities • Lead RFPs and renewals, including complex and high-profile commercial and contractual negotiations • Interact with senior internal clients and senior external vendor representatives • Create and present deal summaries and recommendations • Work with cross-functional and cross-regional teams • Maintain deal pipelines • Provide commercial advisory services to key stakeholders • Meet or exceed financial and non-financial performance targets • Build collaborative stakeholder relationships • Build supplier relationships and supplier management programs • Drive supplier initiatives in coordination with business and corporate functions • Support the ongoing development of Nomura’s Global Sourcing function • Support Business Continuity plan execution and proactive operational risk management where applicable • Motivate, organize, and develop team members • Identify underlying problems and define future direction • Evaluate options and prioritize actions or recommendations • Promote knowledge sharing, inclusion, psychological safety, and risk culture

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent • Minimum 10 years of experience sourcing relevant spend categories in a blue-chip environment • Proven track record leading commercial and contract activities • CIPS or other professional Sourcing/Procurement qualification desirable • Experience analyzing portfolio opportunities and delivering benefits • Experience leading internal/market analysis, competitive bidding, and negotiation activities for regional and global agreements • Experience renegotiating and extracting value from legacy/incumbent suppliers • Knowledge of pricing and contracting mechanisms for global enterprise-level suppliers • Excellent understanding of commercial levers and legal terms and conditions relating to Software contracts • Knowledge of supply markets, supplier capabilities, and expected trends at geographic and global levels • Experience negotiating enterprise software licensing agreements with Microsoft, Oracle, Salesforce, or similar • Understanding of software license metrics and software asset management principles • Staff management experience essential • Strong commercial and contract negotiation skills • Ability to influence senior external vendors and senior internal clients • Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage a large volume of projects • Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and drive projects to conclusion • Experience in a banking environment may be advantageous but is not essential • Cross-regional team experience is advantageous
