Beschreibung

• Provide project management on projects through feasibility, design, planning, permitting, procurement, execution, commissioning, and optimization phases • Manage contractors and contractor performance for infrastructure projects • Provide engineering advice and support to management and peers • Assist with identifying project resourcing requirements, budgeting, and scheduling for annual capital allocations • Review capital expenditure requests for technical and commercial corporate approval • Assist with regulatory compliance activities, including licensing and permitting of capital developments • Perform routine compliance auditing related to internal and external engineering standards • Liaise regularly with site personnel and assist operations • Challenge existing operational paradigms with a focus on future innovation and technological advancements • Report to the Project Manager • Work a 21-day-on, 21-day-off rotating schedule, up to 12 hours a day or more, at a remote campsite

🎯 Anforderungen

• Degree in Mining, Civil, Structural, or Mechanical from a recognized tertiary institution, or equivalent experience • Minimum 1 year relevant experience in underground operations • Computer literacy with Microsoft Office Suite • Good verbal and written communication skills • Current Driver’s License • Ability to pass a background check and post-offer physical • Three to five years of professional-level project management experience with leadership roles on large projects (desired) • Experience in asset management systems (desired) • Experience developing capital budgets for projects (desired) • Exposure to regulatory compliance activities, including licensing and permitting of capital developments (desired) • Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office, Pronto, and project management software (desired) • Flexibility to adapt to improved procedures and practices (desired) • Awareness of the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) Act and Regulations (desired) • Ability to work a 21-day-on, 21-day-off rotational schedule and remain at the company-provided camp during work rotations • Ability to work in extreme and changing weather, dust, mud, varying noise levels, varying light conditions, and confined work areas
