Beschreibung

• Utilize the telehealth platform to support clinical sleep programs, including PAP instructions, OAT referrals, PAP therapy adherence and other supported treatments • Coordinate participant care through supported communication tools with patients, medical professionals and medical equipment personnel • Work with clinical teams to ensure an exemplary participant experience and foster a right-the-first-time culture • Collaborate with the Medical Director, NPs, Respiratory Therapists, Sleep Techs and MAs to develop, maintain and apply medical protocols for the SleepCharge telehealth program • Maintain an ongoing patient caseload of medical cases • Support Medical Management teammates with daily duties as needed • Establish exceptional customer service relationships with participants and staff • Review sleep studies by phone or internet for PAP patients • Escalate compliance issues to the appropriate level of care • Respond to participant and personnel inquiries within established time frames and policies • Perform other duties and projects assigned by Medical Management leadership

🎯 Anforderungen

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent level of education • 2+ years experience in sleep is highly considered if the above qualifications are not met • Strong organization skills, attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities • Evidence of exceptional interpersonal skills • High level of professionalism and ability to interface with employees in all positions • Demonstrated team player • Solid problem solving skills • Ability to work independently and in a team environment • Experience delivering telehealth care via phone or video conferencing technology • Experience working within a clinical healthcare environment • Experience working with NPs and physicians • Experience in sleep, neurology or pulmonary medicine is highly desired • Knowledge of pharmaceuticals used in sleep medicine is helpful • Knowledge of operating and maintaining a PAP device, pressure changes, PAP equipment and sleep-related DME supplies
