Beschreibung

• Perform all levels of electrical design, electrical studies, and analysis pertaining to Solar PV and BESS projects in coordination with an internal team and various project stakeholders. • Solar PV and BESS system energy production modelling • Develop construction and equipment specifications • Engineering calculations (NEC maximum system voltage, conductor sizing, overcurrent protection sizing, utility disconnect requirements, voltage drop, and conduit sizing) • Perform final reviews and PE approval for PV and BESS electrical designs. • Generate Single Line Diagrams and interpret requirements for the utility interconnection application processes. • PV and BESS system cost estimation and payback evaluations • Low to medium voltage power distribution design • Participate in client meetings including those requiring occasional travel.

🎯 Anforderungen

• Professional Engineering (PE) license or ability to obtain one within 12 months of hire. • B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. • M.S Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is preferred. • 5+ years of relevant BESS, EV infrastructure, PV experience is preferred. • Knowledge in power system modeling in ETAP and/or SKM. • AutoCAD proficiency is a must. • Familiarity with utility practices, industry codes and standards.
