Beschreibung

• Research, analyze, and recommend changes to an organization’s business process to improve operational efficiencies, quality, service, and profitability. • Perform audits, complex research, and reconciliation using multiple systems (TaxEx, Workday, Atmos, etc.). • Provide escalation support by identifying and resolving complex issues, offering root-cause analysis, and implementing process improvements. • Review and reconcile full cancel complete or partial cancel complete and communicate with the team. • Review customer WD data, identify out of balance in Taxex, and create files in Atmos. • Apply overpayment to future tax liabilities and release refunds in Taxex. • Review daily payment and processing to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. • Develop process documentation and project plans. • Investigate and respond timely and accurately to tax inquiries, agency notices, and audits. • Assist with various tax-related payroll projects, system testing, and implementations.

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a similar field of study; or equivalent years in an advanced payroll tax function. • 5+ years working in Payroll tax, strong experience in reconciling and auditing payroll tax, working on complex tax projects • Knowledge of the legal and regulatory environment as it relates to federal, state, and local income tax and unemployment tax. • Proficient with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook) • Previous experience working with either TaxEx, Salesforce, Workday or other ERP HR/Payroll systems/applications preferred. • Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) / Certified Payroll Professional(CPP) certifications preferred. • Experience providing customer support via a Service Provider or Shared Services Organization.
