Beschreibung

• Work within the Radiology Command Center to minimize interruptions and improve workflow for radiologists • Handle outgoing communications regarding critical, urgent, and unexpected findings • Handle incoming requests from referring physicians for preliminary findings and verbal consults • Monitor timely report signing, turnaround times, quality assurance, and protocol completion • Coordinate second-opinion read requests with outside facilities • Support research clarification orders • Report application and network issues to Imaging Informatics or IT and follow through to resolution • Identify and resolve operational concerns; triage inquiries and correspondence • Compile information and develop departmental reports for leadership planning and decision-making • Serve as liaison for radiologists, departments, colleges, providers, patients, and external facilities • Support outside reads by ensuring images are uploaded, assigned, and reports made available • Train and support radiologists, fellows, and residents on IHIS and imaging systems • Monitor outstanding studies, overdue unsigned reports, wet reads, and STAT requests • Assist technologists with protocols and notify radiologists when needed • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience • 0 years of relevant experience required • 0–2 years of relevant experience preferred • Ability to work evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays • Ability to monitor radiology quality, safety, regulatory compliance, and workflow performance • Knowledge of radiology and reporting tools including Nuance, Vision, IHIS, PowerScribe, PACS, and medical imaging software • Experience with data analysis platforms such as Excel or Tableau • Successful completion of a background check for final candidates • Drug screen or physical may be required during the post-offer process
