Beschreibung

• Study specifications to assist planning procedures for construction based on start and completion times and staffing requirements. • Assist the MEP Project Manager with locating and evaluating subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers. • Assist in developing scopes of work and the MEP project schedule. • Prepare estimates for MEP self-performed work and assist with the complete project estimate. • Coordinate and manage all trades throughout the build process. • Solicit prices, assist in selecting qualified bidders, and negotiate final prices. • Assist in drafting subcontracts and purchase orders. • Prepare cost-to-complete, monthly billing, and status reports. • Review and coordinate current P&IDs, mechanical, electrical, shop, architectural, and structural drawings. • Assist with pricing work, drafting changes, and change orders. • Coordinate and manage on-site construction activities from pre-start-up through completion. • Schedule subcontractor work and determine required materials, equipment, and tools. • Set up and close out construction sites. • Serve as on-site Safety Officer when one is not assigned. • Procure tools and materials for delivery according to work schedules. • Direct supervisory personnel and subcontractors in planning and executing work procedures and coordinating construction phases. • Resolve workforce complaints and grievances with supervisory personnel. • Review progress, material, and cost reports and adjust work schedules. • Establish and maintain safety and quality standards and administer Gray’s QMS program. • Generate reports and traceability for continuous improvement. • Communicate, implement, and enforce Gray’s safety program on site. • Manage multiple subordinate team members and indirectly manage subcontractors, consultants, and general laborers.

🎯 Anforderungen

• Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, and a minimum five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Basic computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheet, and email applications. • Ability to coordinate and manage all trades throughout the construction process. • Ability to review P&IDs and mechanical, electrical, shop, architectural, and structural drawings. • Ability to prepare estimates, schedules, reports, subcontracts, purchase orders, and change orders. • Ability to establish and maintain safety and quality standards. • Ability to use and maintain the company QMS program. • Ability to generate reports and traceability for continuous improvement. • Energetic, self-motivated, collaborative team-oriented approach. • Must be willing and able to travel to project sites throughout the United States and, in some cases, outside the U.S. • This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. • Must meet physical demands including frequent standing, walking, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and lifting up to 25 lbs frequently and 100 lbs occasionally.
