Beschreibung

• The Category Manager (Clinical Contract Steward) is an experienced sourcing and contracting professional responsible for owning the post‑award lifecycle of clinical sourcing contracts and ensuring that negotiated value is fully realized, governed, and sustained. • This role bridges strategic sourcing execution and operational contract management, serving as the primary steward for clinical supplier agreements once sourcing events conclude. • The Contract Steward partners closely with Strategic Sourcing leadership, Category Managers, Finance, Legal, and health system stakeholders to ensure pricing integrity, contract compliance, savings validation, and issue resolution across clinical product categories. • Performs clinical spend analysis to identify sourcing, standardization, and cost reduction opportunities across assigned product categories. • Support clinical sourcing events, including RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs, by preparing bid structures, supplier lists, evaluation scorecards, and analysis templates. • Evaluate supplier responses for pricing, service levels, clinical equivalency, and contractual terms. • Assist Category Managers in developing negotiation scenarios, cost models, and trade off analyses. • Document sourcing recommendations and prepare materials used for stakeholder and clinical review discussions. • Support supplier evaluations, including product conversions, supplier performance reviews, and risk assessments. • Maintain sourcing documentation, audit trails, and supporting analyses.

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or a related discipline. • 7+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain analytics, or healthcare related financial analysis. • Experience supporting competitive sourcing events and supplier evaluations. • Preferred Experience within healthcare, hospital, or clinical product sourcing environments. • Exposure to medical surgical, implant, pharmaceutical, or clinical equipment categories. • Experience working with GPO contracts and manufacturer pricing structures. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex pricing, utilization, and supplier data. • Understanding of clinical sourcing fundamentals, including standardization, equivalency analysis, and contracting models. • Proficiency in Excel and spend analytics tools; comfort working with large datasets. • Ability to interpret commercial contract elements related to pricing, rebates, and compliance. • Clear written and verbal communication skills; able to translate analysis into actionable insights. • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills. • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross functional teams.
