Beschreibung

• Design, implement, and test enhancements to Control APIs and services, including rule evaluation, policy enforcement, advanced optimizations, and real-time usage insights • Use Go on Kubernetes and GCP • Build scalable systems for telemetry shaping and cost control, including ingest policies, aggregation, sampling policies, utility scores and recommendations, and usage-based controls • Partner with Product and Design to deliver customer-facing experiences for understanding telemetry cost drivers and taking safe, effective action • Own operational quality through instrumentation, alerting, debugging, incident response, and performance tuning for production workloads • Collaborate across product, design, platform, infrastructure, and developer experience teams to integrate Control decisions into the broader ingestion, query, and storage ecosystem • Build understanding of Chronosphere’s observability platform and contribute to Control features • Ship impactful enhancements and contribute to system design direction

🎯 Anforderungen

• Proven track record building high-quality, scalable systems • Experience working on complex, performance-sensitive services in production • Strong skills in a systems language such as Go, C++, Java, C#, or Rust • Fluency developed through real-world engineering work • Ability to independently own projects from inception to delivery, including planning, requirements gathering, stakeholder collaboration, and execution with operational maturity • Curiosity and motivation to learn deep, complex domains • Habit of seeking feedback and ability to ask for help when needed • Excitement for product engineering and building direct customer-value features around cost control, optimizations, and reliability • Flexible, collaborative working style • Must not require immigration sponsorship; employer will not sponsor work visas
