Beschreibung

• Support engineering projects from conception to completion • Formulate plans and create, maintain, and upgrade implementations across most of the technology stack • Contribute to conceptualization and feature documentation of new ideas and product enhancements • Build and extend interactive React applications for veterinary purchasers, corporate hospital groups, owners, and animal health manufacturers • Add good test coverage • Build reusable components for the larger team • Implement new features in React Native applications • Work directly with the CTO and engineering team and across other functions to evolve the platform and products • Work in a fully remote environment

🎯 Anforderungen

• 2 years of professional software engineering experience, preferably building web applications • Bachelor's Degree required, ideally in Computer Science • High proficiency in at least one industry-common language and willingness to improve in others • Experience building a professionally successful production application in a modern web framework • Ability to design features around data models with accuracy, security, and performance in mind • Experience working with a database and analyzing queries for optimization • Fluency with JavaScript features as a prototyped and functional language • Good software testing habits • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to adapt quickly and manage many concurrent responsibilities • Strong desire to help customers succeed • Positive attitude and one-for-all team mentality • Experience working with a backend language, an ORM, and writing API endpoints • Comfortable working in a remote environment • Must be legally authorized to work in the country for which applying • Vetcove is unable to sponsor work visas at this time • Employment contingent upon successful completion of a background check
