Beschreibung

• Lead, execute, and oversee Pathward’s Suspicious Activity Monitoring (SAM) case investigation function • Provide senior-level management over investigation, documentation, and disposition of escalated cases • Provide direct oversight of managers responsible for SAM case investigations, enhanced due diligence, and escalation activities • Oversee cases generated through Actimize, FCRM transaction monitoring systems, and manual referrals • Manage case volumes, aging, investigation quality, regulatory responsiveness, SLAs, and quality standards • Partner with Compliance, Technology, Data Analytics, Program Management, and Assurance functions • Support development, implementation, and maintenance of BSA/AML policies, procedures, and controls • Oversee customer due diligence, sanctions screening, AML and sanctions screening, and suspicious activity reporting where applicable • Participate in BSA/AML risk assessments across products, services, customers, and geographic locations • Ensure investigations are investigated, documented, and dispositioned according to policies, procedures, and regulations • Maintain accountability for SAM case dispositions, suspicious activity identification, SAR referrals, CTR accuracy and timeliness, and EDD escalations • Ensure timely responses to 314(a) requests, law enforcement inquiries, subpoenas, and regulatory requests • Develop, maintain, and report KRIs and KPIs to management committees and the Board • Translate operational data into risk-focused narratives for senior management and Board oversight • Lead root cause analysis, identify control gaps, and recommend risk-based remediation • Partner on SAM rule tuning, alert quality, false positives, risk coverage, and governance of system enhancements • Develop and authorize corporate and organizational policies • Maintain current SAM policies, procedures, and investigation standards • Establish training, quality assurance, and mentorship frameworks for managers and analysts • Promote accountability, consistency, and continuous improvement across SAM Case Operations

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s degree required • Advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., CAMS) preferred • Extensive experience in BSA/AML operations, financial crimes investigations, and SAM programs within a regulated financial institution • Demonstrated leadership experience managing managers and large investigative teams • Strong working knowledge of Actimize, FCRM, and enterprise transaction monitoring systems • Proven ability to engage effectively with regulators, auditors, and senior leadership • Exceptional analytical, communication, and organizational skills
