Beschreibung

• Manage the overall credit risk of agricultural loan portfolios through planning, credit review, sales, and lending techniques • Provide financial solutions to farmers and agricultural businesses • Prepare and achieve strategic business and tactical initiatives with the President/CEO and senior management • Meet production goals determined by the President and CEO • Develop and maintain a robust agricultural loan portfolio • Collaborate on loan policies, underwriting, risk management, loan pricing, and agricultural lending strategies • Assist the Chief Credit Officer in managing agricultural loan portfolio risk • Establish guidelines for servicing agricultural loans and loan documentation • Ensure lending policies, guidelines, and best practices are followed • Grow the agricultural team and supervise credit review, appraisal review, risk management, and agricultural lending personnel • Interview loan applicants and analyze financial status, credit, property, and application information • Study economic trends and evaluate businesses, industries, equipment, crops, animals, and inventory • Conduct and evaluate field and site visits • Prepare findings reports and recommend credit limitations • Develop repayment-risk mitigation strategies • Approve loans within limits or prepare presentations for approval committees • Ensure accurate loan and closing documentation • Analyze loan markets and develop prospects • Collect loans and manage problem loan assets • Ensure loan agreements comply with policy • Compose correspondence • Comply with Signature Banking requirements

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor degree in Business, Finance, Agriculture or similar field • Banking education through certified institutions • Fifteen plus years of experience within the banking industry • Current background in agriculture lending and risk management • Experience managing multiple lines of business in agriculture lending and banking operations • Experience supporting the agricultural community through financial, agricultural, lending, and interpersonal expertise • Knowledge of banking industry procedures, workflow, and state and federal regulatory requirements • Understanding of credit structures, credit philosophy, and agricultural credit underwriting • Knowledge of equipment loans and valuation, crop and animal production and inventory loans, federal crop insurance assignments, statutory and licensing requirements • Ability to sell bank products and services • Analytical ability to evaluate agricultural lending and make sound recommendations • Understanding of agricultural financial statements and credit analysis • Ability to analyze complex agricultural financial information and solve problems • Excellent written and oral communication • Proficient computer skills, including Excel and Word • Strong management skills and ability to motivate others • Time management, prioritization, and organization skills • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
