Beschreibung

• Lead and support field technicians servicing UPS systems and related critical power equipment • Conduct field visits to assess technical skills, review completed work, reinforce safety practices, and provide coaching • Review preventive maintenance and repair documentation for accuracy and quality • Build technician training plans, support onboarding, and coordinate in-field training • Partner with dispatch on scheduling conflicts, service delays, emergency calls, and technician coverage • Help manage the on-call rotation and coordinate customer emergency responses • Monitor service quality, safety, productivity, job completion, and route performance • Confirm technicians have required training, certifications, PPE, tools, and materials • Respond to customer questions and escalations with regional leadership and customer success teams • Coordinate requests for services outside the agreed customer scope • Support technician interviews, hiring decisions, and performance management • Oversee fleet readiness and resolve vehicle, equipment, and system access issues • Promote compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, company safety procedures, and customer site requirements

🎯 Anforderungen

• Strong hands-on knowledge of UPS systems and associated electrical equipment • Experience leading or supervising field service technicians in a customer-facing environment • Experience with preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and service documentation for mission-critical equipment • Ability to coach technicians at different experience levels and address performance concerns • Strong communication skills with technicians, customers, dispatch, and support teams • Ability to manage competing priorities and make sound decisions during service escalations • Familiarity with electrical safety practices and applicable OSHA and NFPA 70E requirements • Ability to travel throughout the assigned service territory, including occasional overnight travel • Willingness to work varied hours and respond to emergencies, including evenings or weekends when needed • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company vehicle requirements • Ability to visit active job sites, work in varied conditions, and lift up to 110 pounds • Ability to complete required pre-employment screenings, where applicable • Ability to obtain and maintain Security Clearance Access to customer facilities
