Beschreibung

• Design, build, enhance, and maintain full stack assessment capabilities that are reliable, scalable, secure, and maintainable • Own moderately complex technical workstreams end-to-end, from problem framing and design through implementation, testing, release, and operational follow-through • Contribute to architecture, API design, data model, integration, and platform trade-off discussions • Contribute to roadmap and sequencing conversations by surfacing technical constraints, dependencies, risks, and incremental delivery options • Partner with Product Management and UX during discovery, problem framing, solution design, prototyping, validation, and iteration • Translate user needs into technically sound and feasible solutions • Deliver high-quality software iteratively with Product, UX, QA, and platform teams • Raise engineering standards through code reviews, mentoring, technical documentation, and thoughtful engineering practices • Translate product goals and user stories into technical plans, implementation tasks, and acceptance criteria • Use or learn AI-assisted coding tools for development, testing, documentation, and problem solving • Modernize legacy systems while improving quality, security, observability, and maintainability • Build relationships with Product Management, UX, QA, data, content, platform, and GTM partners • Communicate technical strategy, progress, trade-offs, blockers, and risks to engineering leadership and cross-functional stakeholders

🎯 Anforderungen

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience • Strong full stack development experience, preferably with .NET/C# and React; comparable modern backend and frontend experience acceptable • Experience designing and consuming APIs • Experience with cloud technologies, preferably AWS • Experience building secure, scalable, maintainable services and user experiences • Strong engineering fundamentals, including object-oriented design, testing, debugging, code review, source control, CI/CD, performance, accessibility, and secure coding practices • Experience with or strong interest in AI-assisted coding tools and AI-augmented development workflows • Ability to work effectively with Product Management and UX • Strong written and verbal communication • Outcome-oriented mindset, strong ownership, sound judgment in ambiguity, and commitment to continuous improvement • Bonus: background in educational technology, assessment platforms, learning tools, or high-scale B2B2C products • Bonus: experience with containerization, microservices, observability, or DevOps practices • Bonus: experience modernizing legacy software while maintaining reliability for an existing user base
