Beschreibung

• Work closely with teammates and across teams to design, build, and enhance cloud-native applications in Pearson’s Access Domain, which manages access to Pearson’s global learning resources • Serve as a team leader on an agile team, interacting with all roles on the agile team and other development teams • Analyze business needs and co-design efficient, modern architectures • Develop, test, document, and deploy applications, web services, and APIs • Ensure code quality through BDD, TDD, unit/integration testing, and industry standards • Explore and share new frameworks and cloud technologies • Reengineer legacy systems into cloud-based microservices • Co-manage CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and code quality monitoring • Implement security standards and authentication/authorization • Support and enhance applications, monitor system health, and share production support • Present technical demos, participate in all SDLC phases, work with clients and teams to meet delivery targets and resolve issues • Guide and support the scrum team, facilitating agile ceremonies • Mentor and uplift junior engineers • Champion agile best practices and continuous improvement

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Electronics and Communications, Information Technology, or related field • Minimum 5 years of experience in Java/J2EE, Spring, microservices, cloud platforms, CI/CD, and security standards • Expert proficiency in Software Design • Expert proficiency in API Management • Expert proficiency in Information Security • Effective proficiency in Cloud Computing • Effective proficiency in DevOps • Effective proficiency in Ethical Responsibility • Effective proficiency in Technical Acumen • Effective proficiency in Problem Solving • Effective proficiency with AI agents like Claude • Intermediate proficiency in Collaboration • Intermediate proficiency in Adaptability • Intermediate proficiency in Learning to Learn • Intermediate proficiency in Resilience Planning
