Beschreibung

• Lead multiple cross-functional development teams across modern and legacy platforms • Flex team size and composition around work flowing through formal intake • Commit to scope, level of effort, timelines, and team sizing in executable plans • Deliver against commitments and communicate risks early with recovery plans • Build engineering quality into team processes through definition of done, automated testing, code review, and metrics • Establish complete positive and negative automated test coverage for every feature • Maintain a monthly production release cadence of 30 days or faster • Run modern Salesforce-centered, configuration-first platform development alongside legacy system sustainment • Own the warranty for released software • Set and enforce standards for code quality, review, documentation, and definition of done • Keep documentation current with every release • Scale responsible AI-assisted engineering across the organization • Apply AI to automated test coverage, code review, defect analysis, and documentation while respecting federal security, data, privacy, and authorization boundaries • Hire, develop, retain, and performance-manage engineering talent • Work directly with federal customers and decision-makers • Present delivery status, defend engineering decisions with evidence, and challenge poor technical or program direction respectfully • Develop engineering leads and maintain quality standards under schedule pressure

🎯 Anforderungen

• Led engineering organizations of multiple teams building and shipping production software • Able to explain delivery and quality outcomes with numbers • Hands-on technical credibility; still reads code, reviews designs, and provides technical judgment • Built a quality system achieving measurably low defect escape rates through engineering discipline and test automation • Shipped software inside a regulated federal environment • Experience treating security, accessibility, authorization, and documentation requirements as delivery constraints • Fluency with release cadence, defect detection and escape rates, cycle times, and automation coverage metrics • Uses AI engineering tools and has led teams in responsible, measured AI-assisted development • Able to present delivery status, defend engineering decisions with evidence, deliver bad news early, and challenge unrealistic direction respectfully • Strong hiring, engineering development, retention, and performance-management judgment • Must be U.S.-based • Able to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust clearance • Full-time W-2 employment requirement • Salesforce delivery leadership or comparable configuration-first enterprise platform leadership (helpful, not required) • Deep background in test automation frameworks and strategy (helpful, not required) • Experience running legacy sustainment and modernization in parallel, or decommissioning a production system (helpful, not required) • Familiarity with 508 accessibility compliance (helpful, not required)
