Beschreibung

• Develop a comprehensive cloud migration strategy based on business and technical requirements • Assess the current IT landscape and define the scope of migration • Select cloud models and cloud service providers such as AWS, Azure, and GCP • Define cost, security, and compliance requirements for cloud adoption • Provide guidance on Cloud Center of Excellence framework • Develop detailed migration and transformation plans • Design scalable, available, and performant cloud architectures • Develop rehosting, re-platforming, re-architecting, and legacy-system replacement plans • Identify migration dependencies and risks • Select appropriate compute, storage, networking, and security services • Lead migration execution while minimizing downtime and business disruption • Collaborate with DevOps, security, and networking teams to configure cloud environments • Oversee data migration, application refactoring, and cloud-native integrations • Optimize workloads after migration for cost-effectiveness and efficiency • Implement cloud security practices including IAM, encryption, and monitoring • Consult on compliance with industry standards • Establish cloud governance policies for resource usage and cost control • Set up monitoring and alerting using AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or GCP Operations Suite • Continuously optimize cloud resources for performance and cost reduction • Troubleshoot issues and improve system reliability • Align cloud migration goals with business leaders, developers, and IT teams • Train and guide teams on cloud technologies and best practices • Communicate migration progress, risks, and solutions to stakeholders

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience or military experience • 5+ years of experience in the IT industry • 3+ years of Cloud Migration experience • Excellent problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Relevant technology certifications preferred • Good understanding of IaaS and PaaS cloud services • Proficiency in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, with relevant certification(s) • Knowledge of compute, storage, and networking infrastructure building blocks • Understanding of virtualization and experience with VMware vSphere, MS Hyper-V, or another server or desktop virtualization solution • Experience with cloud or on-premise migration tools and strategies • Ability to design and explain complex infrastructure solutions • Excellent project management and client communication skills • 5+ years in technology consulting preferred, preferably at one of the Big Four • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks under pressure • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to change • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
