Beschreibung

• Support the customer, Project Manager Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PM PNT) • Support design, development, and integration of complex electrical/electronic engineering projects • Perform system integration, including installation and integration of electrical/electronic systems and subsystems into host platforms and customer environments • Support engineering efforts across design, development, integration, testing, deployment, and field support • Analyze and troubleshoot complex system-level issues, identify root causes, and support corrective actions • Install, configure, and validate electrical and timing-sensitive equipment supporting GCS operations • Conduct calibration of timing devices, including oscillator health, drift measurements, and synchronization accuracy verification • Evaluate power systems, grounding paths, RF cabling, lightning protection interfaces, and environmental control subsystems at GMS sites • Maintain documentation of wiring diagrams, signal paths, calibration data, component serials, and electrical test results • Provide technical support for site installs and annual maintenance at global locations • Execute emergency maintenance on mission-critical electrical and timing components • Analyze faults using cable analyzers, oscilloscopes, test load tools, and GPS-timing verification equipment • Conduct tabletop exercises to test and refine operational procedures and ensure compliance • Assist with site visits, routine maintenance, calibration, and equipment installation • Attend planning and status meetings • Travel to continental United States and outside continental United States locations

🎯 Anforderungen

• MA/MS from an accredited college or university required • Engineering degree in electronics or electrical engineering preferred • At least ten (10) years of experience in the design, development and integration of electrical/electronic systems required • BS degree and sixteen (16) years of experience can be substituted for MA/MS degree requirement • ACTIVE Secret clearance required • Detail-oriented with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills • Ability to travel no less than 50% • Ability to work Monday through Friday with flexibility around core hours • Ability to work in government offices, military bases and depots, warehouse/maintenance shops, and field environments, including extended periods outdoors • Ability to climb stairs, ramps, ladders, and work stands • Ability to wear required PPE, including glasses/goggles, hearing protection, hard hats, and breathing respirators/masks • Ability to operate powered vehicles, machinery, hand tools, ground support equipment, and forklifts • Ability to lift, push, or pull objects weighing in excess of 50 pounds • Ability to withstand equipment noise and prolonged periods of sitting and computer use
