Beschreibung

• Guide the development and management of a portfolio of solutions in the data, reporting, predictive intelligence, and data science domains • Provide architectural direction and guidance to data engineering teams • Translate business problems, requests, and/or requirements into defined data solutions • Document the data platform to effectively capture and communicate how business capabilities are realized or enabled through technology and process • Develop strategies, roadmaps, principles, standards, and best practices for the data platform • Develop PoCs as required • Support engineering teams in executing against strategies, roadmaps, principles, standards, and best practices for the data platform • Provide coaching, mentoring and guidance for engineering and delivery teams • Analyze industry, technology, and market trends to introduce best practice frameworks/capability models tailored to control costs, provide higher quality and/or increase predictability of service delivery

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field • 7 years of experience in an architectural role or an equivalent combination of education and experience • Seven (7) years experience in data architecture or a related technical field with significant design contribution • Strong knowledge of data ecosystems, Big Data patterns, Cloud Service Providers, business intelligence solutions, data integration patterns, common data warehousing patterns, retrospective reporting, predictive analytics, and exploratory analytics patterns • Strong knowledge of modern data and platform delivery practices in one or more recognized paradigms (data fabric, data mesh, data warehouse, data lake house, data lake, etc.) • Expert knowledge across a broad set of data delivery and data hosting platforms (RDBMS, NoSQL tools, data warehouses, data query tools, data visualization tools, persistent data models, integration platforms, etc.) • Expert understanding of data engineering fundamentals, implementation of modern data platforms, and data modelling characteristics • Familiarity with information management practices, system development life cycle management, IT services management, and one or more architectural frameworks • Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake, or equivalent • MDM knowledge (Reltio, Informatica, or similar) is a plus
