Beschreibung

• Support RSB Advisory Services projects involving sustainable feedstocks, biofuels, traceability, Book and Claim systems, standards, certification, GHG emission savings, and LCA. • Deliver project work packages and tasks within contract timelines and due dates. • Develop reports, practical guidelines, slide decks, and training content for internal and external audiences. • Lead, conduct, and coordinate LCA and GHG assessments under RSB, CORSIA, EU RED, and other relevant methodologies. • Provide technical expertise on LCA and GHG emissions topics across feedstocks, bioenergy, bioplastics, Power-to-X, aviation, fuels, and chemicals. • Support development and updates of RSB LCA GHG methodologies, GHG Tool, and Standards. • Conduct literature reviews, benchmarks, and gap analyses of sustainability standards, policies, and guidance. • Research feedstock alternatives, responsible sourcing, environmental and social trade-offs, supply chains, land use, degraded land, and ILUC. • Facilitate stakeholder engagement and maintain engagement records where applicable. • Apply RSB standards, certification mechanisms, frameworks, and proprietary environmental and social risk tools. • Support client engagement, needs identification, and proposal development for biomaterials and related advisory projects. • Support feedstock assessments, biofuel/biomaterial processing frameworks, LCA GHG assessments, certification benchmarks, gap analyses, and training activities. • Track, document, archive, and complete proposal and project information. • Follow up on contracts, update project data, track invoices, maintain documentation, and update digital folders and platforms. • Coordinate external consultants involved in project delivery where applicable. • Report to the Director of Advisory Services and the Sustainability Manager GHG expert; collaborate with Programs, Sustainability Foundations, and Secretariat teams.

🎯 Anforderungen

• Master's degree or equivalent experience in environmental science, environmental engineering, or a related field. • 10+ years of relevant professional experience. • Demonstrated expertise in LCA GHG calculation and assessment methodologies. • Experience leading the implementation of complex projects. • Experience working in bioenergy/biofuels or chemicals and materials. • Strong analytical and technical writing skills. • Fluency in English. • Effective project communication skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software. • Ability to translate complex technical issues into practical business recommendations. • Strong stakeholder engagement skills. • Ability to work independently in a remote, international environment. • Comfortable operating in evolving methodological landscapes. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to scientific rigor. • Excellent project management and prioritization skills. • Resilience under strict project due dates and ability to manage client needs. • Interest in market transformation, sustainable fuels, and high-integrity climate solutions. • Strong interpersonal skills. • Experience with regulatory frameworks, including EU-RED and CORSIA systems, sustainability standards, and renewable energy certificates (desired). • Knowledge of broadly accepted GHG methodologies and tools (desired). • Familiarity with sustainability certification systems such as RSB (desired). • Experience working with multinational companies on climate strategy or sustainability reporting (desired). • Candidates must be located in Spain and possess a valid work permit for Spain. • Candidates must submit a cover letter and a CV of no more than two to three pages.
