Beschreibung

• Responsible for supporting public relations activities within the Defense portfolio • Create and execute strategic public relations and media plans • Engage with and pitch relevant members of the media • Develop new relationships with reporters • Identify new story ideas and draft briefing documents and press releases • Manage crisis communications • Ensure that critical business and campaign messages are properly communicated • Media train leaders and spokespeople for planned media engagements

🎯 Anforderungen

• A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience • Knowledge of the aerospace and defense industry • Exceptional written, verbal, and social communication skills • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills • Attention to detail and complete staff work • Strong executive presence and experience with executive coaching/counsel • Demonstrated ability to effectively interface with all levels of employees, leadership, and external organizations • Demonstrated success working effectively in cross-functional teams • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time and resources, organize, and prioritize work across multiple projects, and work within tight deadlines • Demonstrated agility and adaptability to changes in direction • Proven ability to balance and deliver on multiple projects • Strong understanding of Associated Press writing style
