Beschreibung

• Provide technical and engineering management expertise for best practices, standards, and technical report development • Facilitate and manage working groups and user forum projects developing industry guidance, standards, and technical reports • Support development, management, and marketing of standards, technical reports, qualification/certification programs, referee materials, and cooperative research • Apply technical and engineering expertise to project management and product development • Develop statements of work for new and revised standards and technical reports • Plan and integrate technical activities to accomplish project goals • Coordinate industry comments and related industry groups, and represent subcommittees and working groups in meetings and forums • Generate and assess technical oversight reports, conduct technical oversight, resolve non-conformances, and ensure timely document release • Support subcommittee and working-group programs through technical planning, meeting logistics, facilitation, agendas, minutes, issue resolution, and communications • Plan and conduct technical meetings, seminars, and sessions; prepare materials, reports, and presentations • Support industry conferences, technical meetings, program communication strategies, workshops, appearances, exhibits, and marketing materials • Support leadership committees and straightforward new initiatives • Recommend process improvements, identify gaps and problems, and report to management • Participate in user-experience research to improve ease of use, customer satisfaction, and future products and services • Support strategic plans by aligning deadlines, goals, and milestones

🎯 Anforderungen

• 6 years’ experience in automotive or automated vehicle engineering, project management, project engineering, or technical management roles • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality, science, or business management • Technical/engineering expertise with experience in technical standards use, development, or auditing; automated or automotive industry use preferred • Strong interpersonal and communications skills • Excellent analytical, writing, editing, and presentation skills • Ability to organize effectively, carry out independent action, work on simultaneous assignments, and perform functions confidentially • Strong project management skills • Global and cultural sensitivities • Attention to detail • Strong teamwork, collaboration, and problem-solving skills • Understanding of trade association operations • Master’s degree in engineering, science, quality, finance, or business management preferred • Role-related certifications preferred • 2 years of experience managing volunteer committees, or similar experience preferred • Strong computer skills, including MS Office and typical office application software • Knowledge of software and database systems • Reliable, secure internet connection and proper ergonomic setup • Ability to maintain a confidential and secure workspace and comply with company data security policies
