Beschreibung

• SafelyYou is seeking a Vice President of Engineering to lead the end-to-end development of our platform. • Oversee a 50+ person engineering organization spanning Infrastructure, Mobile, Cloud, Fleet software, AI, Hardware. • Accountable for delivering highly available, scalable, and secure systems that support mission-critical operations in senior care communities. • Collaborate closely with Product, R&D, Operations, and Compliance teams to define roadmap priorities and align engineering execution with company strategy. • Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing engineering organization across Mobile, Cloud, QA, DevOps, and Fleet Software, AI and Hardware. • Own the execution and delivery of SafelyYou’s platform, focusing on engineering team effectiveness, capacity planning, and predictable, on-time delivery. • Drive innovation in system architecture, infrastructure automation, and service designs to support future growth.

🎯 Anforderungen

• 12+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 5 years leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams of 20+. • Proven track record operating high-availability production systems and SaaS platforms supporting large distributed device fleets. • Strong technical foundation in cloud architectures, distributed systems, mobile development, and modern backend frameworks. • Deep experience implementing and optimizing Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid models). • Expertise in measuring and improving engineering performance and velocity (e.g., OKRs, DORA metrics, cycle time analysis). • Excellent organizational leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills. • Preferred Experience: in regulated or safety-critical environments (healthcare, IoT, life-safety systems). Background working with large-scale IoT or distributed hardware fleets. Knowledge of AI/ML integration in production systems.
