Beschreibung

• Analyze business and technical requirements and design documents to develop manual test cases and automated test scripts • Perform manual functional, regression, integration, and system testing; document results and log defects • Design, create, and maintain Selenium and Playwright automated test suites for UI and/or API testing • Design and maintain test frameworks and scripts for Java-based applications • Execute automated test suites in CI/CD pipelines, analyze results, triage failures, and report issues • Execute load and performance tests and contribute to performance analysis and reporting • Track defects through closure and collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues • Deploy software to test environments, monitor application and server logs, and identify errors or unexpected behavior • Participate in test case and test script peer reviews • Assist the Test Lead with release test plans, the Requirements Traceability Matrix, regression test suite management, and test summary reports • Support internal quality assurance checks for deliverables • Collaborate with business analysts and developers on business, functional, and technical requirements • Participate in SAFe/Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement • Support testing integrated solutions involving Pentaho, Liferay, and PowerApps where applicable

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; an additional 4 years of experience may be substituted for a degree • 2+ years of total IT experience • 2+ years of experience as a Software Test Engineer or similar role • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust requiring U.S. Citizenship • Strong experience with both manual and automated testing • Strong knowledge of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and testing methodologies • Ability to analyze complex requirements/designs and create detailed test cases and scripts • Experience executing test cases, documenting results, identifying defects, and producing test reports • Hands-on experience creating and maintaining automated tests using Selenium • Hands-on experience creating and maintaining automated tests using Playwright, or ability to quickly ramp up • Experience testing or working with Java-based applications • Experience with GitHub repositories, branching, pull requests, and basic CI/CD workflows • Experience with configuration management and version control tools such as the Atlassian suite, JIRA, and/or Subversion (SVN) • Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation and backend testing • Strong oral and written communication skills • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, priority-shifting, deadline-driven environment • Strong organizational, presentation, and business analysis skills • Desired: exposure to Pentaho, Liferay, Microsoft PowerApps, SAFe or other Agile methodologies, and technical documentation/user manuals
