Beschreibung

• Lead and support small and large controls projects focused on technical execution and effective project management • Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and structural disciplines to complete projects • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve controls engineering issues • Develop digital systems designs, including PLC, DCS, HSI, and networked computer systems • Prepare control system functional and implementation requirements and procurement specifications for nuclear plant control systems • Interface with clients to ensure proper project execution and client satisfaction • Prepare and review technical reports, calculations, and studies • Manage resources and resource loading, and develop task completion estimates and budgets • Support proposal development • Prepare and review diagrams and drawings for new and upgraded controls solutions • Evaluate vendor bids from a technical perspective • Interface with vendors, review documents, ensure equipment compliance, and witness FAT performance on behalf of clients • Support project implementation at client facilities • Lead use of data, automation, and AI to improve engineering workflows and oversee automated outputs

🎯 Anforderungen

• BS degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program • 10 or more years of experience in instrumentation and controls systems design engineering in a project team environment • Experience with commercial or industrial applications, especially integrated and detailed system design modifications • Professional Engineering license preferred • Ability to communicate clearly in speech and writing • Technical knowledge of available equipment and proven pre-engineered systems for systems design • Experience serving as the firm's client liaison in a support or lead engineering role • Experience reviewing design documentation • Willingness or ability to lead others using data, automation, and modern tools such as automation and AI • Ability to oversee engineering automation using tools such as Python, MATLAB, or advanced Excel is valued but not required • Additional learning or experience in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, or related fields is valued • Must not require U.S. work authorization sponsorship
