Beschreibung

• Take ownership of commercial Solar PV and associated renewable energy projects from handover through mobilisation, installation, commissioning, completion and customer handover • Review project scope, technical requirements, programmes and delivery assumptions before mobilisation • Plan and coordinate labour, subcontractors, materials, equipment and access • Conduct pre-start meetings and required site visits • Develop and manage project programmes and delivery milestones • Coordinate internal installation teams, electricians, external contractors and specialist installation partners • Manage multiple projects at different delivery stages • Communicate regularly with customers and project stakeholders • Monitor progress and resolve delays, technical problems and delivery issues • Identify and manage variations and scope changes • Provide technical electrical leadership and guidance • Review electrical designs, drawings, specifications and Solar PV installation proposals • Resolve technical issues during installation and commissioning • Ensure testing, certification and commissioning are completed correctly • Ensure compliance with electrical regulations, industry standards, MCS requirements, DNO applications, approvals and Building Control requirements • Maintain project and technical documentation, including O&M manuals and customer handover packs • Undertake detailed site surveys and assess electrical infrastructure, capacity, cable routes, access and installation constraints • Identify technical, installation, access and health and safety risks • Support project specifications, scopes of work, installation methodologies, RFQs and subcontractor selection • Provide practical input into labour, programme, access, equipment and material requirements • Work with technical and commercial teams to ensure survey information is reflected in project scopes and specifications • Build and maintain a network of reliable installation partners and review contractor performance

🎯 Anforderungen

• Qualified electrician with recognised electrical qualifications • Strong practical experience of commercial electrical installations • Genuine hands-on experience installing Solar PV systems • Good working knowledge of current electrical regulations • Experience taking responsibility for electrical works, sites, teams or projects • Ability to manage electricians, subcontractors and installation teams • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications • Strong planning and organisational skills • Confidence communicating with customers, contractors and colleagues • Good IT skills and comfort using project and business management systems • Good written communication and documentation skills • Practical problem-solving mentality • Commercial awareness • Full UK driving licence • Willingness to travel throughout the UK as required • Desirable: experience in commercial Solar PV installation, commercial EV charging installation, electrical supervision, Solar or EV installation supervision, electrical project management, managing electrical subcontractors, MCS, DNO applications and grid connections, NICEIC or equivalent compliance environments, commissioning and fault finding, RAMS and site documentation, project commercial management, and customer-facing project delivery
