Beschreibung

• Lead development and execution of worker-centered communications and digital strategies for priority campaigns • Coordinate narrative and messaging, including dynamic days of action, across the Narrative and Engagement Department and Organizing Hub • Build and oversee the union’s organizing campaigns • Manage organizing Assistant Directors and other campaign staff • Supervise consultants, if applicable • Create and share communications strategy, messaging, and materials with Organizing Hub deputies and campaign staff • Drive engagement of workers and stakeholders and build awareness of SEIU’s organizing demands • Coordinate strategic communications plans and goals to tell one cohesive story • Plan, budget, and manage projects across divisions, departments, and campaign leaders • Develop staff through training, feedback, reviews, skills development, and career development • Work with International Union staff, campaign staff, local leaders and members, nonunion workers, and community partners • Represent the International Union with independent judgment and professionalism • Handle multiple priority projects simultaneously and meet established deadlines • Perform other duties as assigned in support of the International Union

🎯 Anforderungen

• Seven to eight years of related work experience, or a combination of education and experience providing the required knowledge, skills, and abilities • Knowledge of unions and other advocacy organizations preferred • Priority given to candidates with real-world communications and organizing experience, regardless of formal education • Must be available for frequent travel with overnight stays required • Must be able to work long and irregular hours • Ability to work in an office, field, or other settings as required
