Beschreibung

• Implement team-level standards for AI-augmented development using prompt engineering and validation frameworks • Identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities and over-abstraction in AI-generated code, and track team productivity metrics • Design, build, and maintain highly available cloud-native infrastructure • Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling • Implement and maintain platform security safeguards and compliance standards • Contribute to monitoring, tracing, alerting, and the system observability roadmap • Partner with product and engineering teams to translate technical requirements into scalable platform solutions • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers • Lead incident response for team-owned services • Champion modern engineering best practices • Own complex features from ideation through production and partner with engineering leads on platform abstractions and developer experience

🎯 Anforderungen

• 5 plus years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or backend engineering • Track record of building scalable, cloud-native environments using AWS and Kubernetes • Strong proficiency using AI collaborators such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot to ship production code • Ability to evaluate AI-generated code for security gaps or architectural hallucinations • Rigorous testing strategy implementation • Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code frameworks such as Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation • High proficiency in Java and Python; Golang is a plus • Experience building mature CI/CD pipelines • Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog • Ability to take ownership of complex projects while balancing speed with architectural health • Strong communication and collaboration skills with distributed engineering and product teams • Visa sponsorship is not available; candidates must be eligible to work in the United Kingdom • Preferred: experience in high-growth startup environments, financial systems or real-money transactions, regulatory compliance, internal developer tools or CLI applications, and leading small project groups
