Beschreibung

• Prepare and post journal entries as part of the month-end close process • Support general ledger maintenance and ensure transactions are accurately recorded across legal entities • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of reconciling items • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements • Assist in the preparation of regulatory filings for the NFA, CFTC, and other governing bodies under the direction of the Accounting Manager • Help monitor the regulatory reporting calendar to ensure deadlines are met • Support internal and external audit requests by preparing schedules and gathering supporting documentation • Assist with maintaining documentation for internal controls (including SOX) • Work with Shared Services on transactional accounting and intercompany activity • Support Technical Accounting with documentation and analysis for complex or non-routine transactions • Assist in responding to inquiries from Finance related to actuals, budget variances, and account activity • Collaborate with business stakeholders as needed to gather information and ensure transactions are properly captured • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy in recurring accounting processes • Assist with ad hoc projects and analysis as needed to support the broader accounting team

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field • CPA candidate preferred; active progress toward CPA a plus • 1–3 years of accounting experience; recent graduates with relevant internship experience encouraged to apply • Working knowledge of US GAAP and general accounting principles • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy • Proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP or accounting systems a plus • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach • Eagerness to learn and grow in a complex, evolving business environment.
