Beschreibung

• Design, build, and scale distributed systems using Kotlin, Java, and Spring Boot for live real-money trading • Own and optimize high-throughput Kafka event pipelines, including partition strategy, consumer group design, and exactly-once processing • Design and build high-throughput, low-latency event-stream systems with data integrity, cache coherence, and sub-millisecond read paths • Partner with product and engineering leadership on cross-domain technical decisions while preserving architectural integrity • Diagnose and durably fix production issues in a live trading environment • Proactively identify performance bottlenecks and technical risks before they affect trading operations • Raise engineering standards through design documents, code and architecture reviews, and scalable engineering patterns

🎯 Anforderungen

• 7+ years building scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems in production • Expert-level proficiency in Java or Kotlin and Spring Boot • Strong command of modern API design, including REST, gRPC, and Protobuf • Deep hands-on experience with Kafka, Redpanda, or Pub/Sub, including internal mechanics, partition strategies, consumer group rebalancing, and delivery guarantees • Deep experience with event-driven architecture and asynchronous messaging • Demonstrated end-to-end domain ownership of designed, built, operated, and improved systems • Strong performance expertise in latency, throughput, and data pipeline efficiency • Ability to write design documents and explain production failures and technical trade-offs • High tolerance for ambiguity and speed; comfortable deploying daily while specifications evolve • Preferred: experience with real-time delivery systems, financial platforms, real-time trading systems, prediction markets, high-growth startups, FIX protocol, or exchange connectivity patterns
