Beschreibung

• Collaborate with plant reliability teams and cross-functional departments to develop and deploy standardized maintenance strategies for existing and new equipment • Plan, develop and deploy best practices in maintenance management and reliability engineering • Champion asset health assurance, predictive and preventive maintenance, root cause analysis, component reliability and Operator-Driven Reliability • Standardize preventive and predictive maintenance strategies across Smithfield facilities • Share best practices, solve root causes and implement procedural changes to improve equipment reliability and performance • Partner with plant engineers, corporate teams and vendors to resolve engineering challenges and repetitive equipment failures • Identify cost-saving opportunities through improved equipment reliability, extended parts life and optimized labor costs • Identify training opportunities and develop a high-performance maintenance workforce • Use CMMS/SAP for data analysis and actionable reliability insights • Assess asset performance and advise whether equipment should be repaired or replaced • Lead engineers as applicable and provide training and guidance to plant staff, Project Engineers and Senior Project Engineers • Perform supervisory responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, training, assigning work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, and resolving complaints and problems

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering or related field and 5+ years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience, required • 2+ years of experience in a position of leadership, including team development and management, required • Knowledge of engineering principles and techniques related to food processing and the meat industry • Proficient in SAP and CMMS • Proficient in Microsoft Suite products • Ability to communicate technical ideas and concepts effectively • Ability to travel to other locations 50% of the time • Ability to apply sound engineering principles to operational and design issues • Excellent written and oral communication, organizational planning, teamwork, analytical reasoning and adaptability skills • Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, dynamic environment • Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment
