Beschreibung

• Develop, govern, and continuously mature a scalable, risk-based university privacy program • Chair Privacy Committee(s) and participate in cross-functional working groups • Develop, maintain, and oversee privacy policies, standards, procedures, and communication strategies • Integrate privacy oversight into compliance, audit, and risk management processes • Prepare annual privacy program reports for senior leadership • Lead privacy risk assessments, including Data Protection Impact Assessments and enterprise-wide assessments • Identify risk mitigation strategies with the Information Security Management Office and stakeholders • Assess privacy program effectiveness and maturity and support remediation and continuous improvement • Oversee third-party privacy assessments, audits, and remediation activities • Support cyber insurance review and selection efforts • Monitor privacy-related regulatory developments and translate requirements into institutional practices • Align privacy requirements with compliance, governance, and risk management frameworks • Coordinate privacy incident response with ISMO, Legal, and other stakeholders • Develop processes for identifying, managing, escalating, and resolving privacy issues and incidents • Design, implement, and maintain privacy training and awareness programs • Serve as the University's privacy subject matter expert and advise on privacy requirements, data use, analytics, emerging technologies, and institutional initiatives

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor's Degree • 10 Years of experience in privacy, compliance, risk management or related field • Relevant privacy-related professional certifications such as CIPP/US, CIPM, CIPT, or similar • Demonstrated experience building or significantly contributing to privacy or compliance programs • Strong knowledge of U.S. privacy laws and regulations, including FERPA, GLBA, and HIPAA • Familiarity with global privacy frameworks, including GDPR, UK GDPR, DPDPA, PIPL, and PIPEDA • Experience working in complex, decentralized organizations of significant scale • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills • Sound ethical judgment and discretion with sensitive information • Collaboration, adaptability, initiative, diplomacy, and practical learning agility • Must reside in and work from one of the approved states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, or Wyoming
