Beschreibung

• Oversee and manage multiple high-voltage substation, transmission, and interconnection construction projects across the Western region • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards, safety regulations, and utility/NERC requirements • Monitor project progress, schedule risk, engineering, procurement, and utility milestones • Participate in go/no-go reviews for regional pursuits • Supervise and lead Project Executives, Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Superintendents • Foster a collaborative, high-performance field organization and consistent ways of working • Conduct team meetings and daily/weekly PODs • Support career pathing for regional staff • Enforce QEW qualification and oversee safety audits, energized work permits, stop-work calls, DART performance, and incident reporting • Serve as a primary client and utility contact; build relationships and address concerns • Collaborate with Business Development and Preconstruction on new projects, AVL qualification pursuits, and bids • Develop and manage project budgets and regional financial rollup • Monitor costs, margins, change orders, and claims • Ensure quality standards, hold points, NCR tracking, and root-cause corrective actions • Prepare reports on project status, financial performance, safety, and quality metrics • Maintain auditable project and qualification documentation • Identify regional risks and implement mitigation strategies

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required for candidates with equivalent high-voltage field experience • Minimum of 8 to 10 years of high-voltage substation, transmission line, and utility interconnection construction experience • Prior experience at the Project Executive level or in a multi-project field leadership role • Proven construction project management and budget forecasting experience, with a track record of success in a leadership role • Working knowledge of the Western region's ISO and utility markets, including CAISO and non-ISO Northwest and Southwest utility markets within WECC • Knowledge of the utility Approved Vendor List (AVL) qualification process • Qualified Electrical Worker (QEW) certification, or ability to obtain it within the first 90 days of hire • Strong understanding of HV construction processes, NERC and utility interconnection requirements, and safety regulations • Ability to lead a geographically distributed team • Ability to analyze complex situations and make informed decisions under schedule and margin pressure • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities across a multi-project regional portfolio • Familiarity with project management, estimating, and productivity-tracking software and tools, including Sunscreen, Workday, Heavy Job/Heavy Bid • Extensive regional travel is required • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring employer sponsorship now or in the future
