Beschreibung

• Design, develop, and maintain Android-based POS software • Collaborate with product management, design, and backend engineering to define, build, and deliver features • Ensure software quality and reliability through automated testing, code reviews, and best practices • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to team members • Address technical challenges and recommend effective solutions • Contribute to subsystem-level design for scalability, security, and performance • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to influence the product roadmap and technical decisions • Build restaurant point-of-sale solutions focused on payments and payment processing

🎯 Anforderungen

• 8+ years of professional experience developing Android applications • Well-versed in Java and Kotlin • Experience with RxJava is an advantage • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field • Proven experience building high-availability, real-time systems, preferably in payments or financial technology • Understanding of secure payment protocols, PCI compliance, and payment processing workflows preferred but not required • Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers • Strong problem-solving skills and experience with complex technical challenges • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across disciplines • Work authorization in the U.S. required • Visa sponsorship is not available
