Beschreibung

• Oversee construction activities at the assigned jobsite • Ensure work is performed safely and meets productivity and quality goals • Provide guidance and mentorship to crew members • Assist with project documentation and ensure accurate accounting of productivity metrics • Prepare construction sites for building, demolition, or excavation • Work with the Superintendent onsite and other foremen to develop daily job tasks • Transport tools and construction equipment to and from construction sites • Assist with setting up GPS systems • Operate dozers, loaders, scrapers, excavators, or motor graders while leading a crew • Perform or request necessary equipment repairs and adjustments • Enforce safety rules, guidelines, and codes among crew members • Maintain records of time worked and materials used • Complete and discuss JHA with crews every day before work starts • Perform other related duties as assigned

🎯 Anforderungen

• 100% travel to project sites across multiple states, with extended assignments at each location • Flexibility, adaptability, and willingness to work wherever projects are located • Thorough understanding of practices involved in the use and maintenance of various types of heavy equipment • Thorough understanding of safety rules and ability to safely operate machinery • Thorough understanding of GPS systems and their use in heavy earthmoving activities • Strong leadership and communication skills • Excellent time management skills • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to prioritize and delegate appropriately • Proficiency in spoken and written English is mandatory • High school diploma or equivalent with at least five years of operating experience • Workplace safety practices • Valid Driver’s license • Prolonged periods of operating heavy machinery • Ability to work long periods, including evenings and weekends when necessary • Ability to operate machinery in all weather conditions and terrains • Ability to lift 60 pounds at a time using safe and proper lifting techniques • Successful completion of a pre-employment criminal background check and drug test
