Beschreibung

• Ensure a constant and controlled supply of fresh, clean air for underground workers through ventilation studies, performance analyses, and ventilation design • Evaluate and design ventilation systems for underground mines and spaces • Develop system designs for ventilation systems and infrastructure • Conduct studies for ventilation optimization • Collect data onsite and identify opportunities for energy savings • Work closely with clients to obtain approval for analysis assumptions and calculations • Report to Senior Mine HVAC Engineer and collaborate with other technical staff

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in HVAC or equivalent • 5-10 years of experience as a HVAC Engineer, preferably with experience in underground mining projects and/or industrial HVAC • A Professional Engineering license is preferred (or the ability to become licensed) • Practical underground mine development and construction experience is a plus • Experience in tunnel and underground cavern ventilation • Familiarity with fire lite safety requirement is a plus • Proficient in the use of VentSIM and preferably CFD software • Working knowledge of business software using Microsoft Word and Excel.
